How to Get Things Done
Isn’t interesting that when you really need to get things done that’s when your mind is buzzing with stressed thoughts that stop you being productive?
We can all easily fall into this trap of being busy and stressed and not be productive. So we feel bad and regret the time we waste.
Get Resourceful
Here’s a quick exercise to turnaround your state of mind when this is happening. First just stop and acknowledge it. Yes that’s right, stop and take a moment to admit, gently but firmly, that you’re too stressed.
Put your hand on your heart even and breathe into these feelings. As you do you’ll notice that they start to change and their strength will fade.
Once this happens you now have the space to decide what you could do that will make the difference.
Get it on Paper
I advise you get a pen and paper and write out whatever you feel is your top problem. Then look at what you’ve written and brainstorm what you could do. This forces the brain to be resourceful rather than fretful.
Try it you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how you come up with solutions and feel better.
