Quit Smoking - by thinking right
The date for the smoking ban looms large for some. For many it will be just the push that they needed to give up, for others they may just see it as yet another government-nanny-state step too far.
If you’re smoker chances are they you’ve tried to give up before, maybe as many as six or more times. Don’t be disheartened that’s typical for most who try to quit.
It seems that if you started smoking while still at school and are still a smoker beyond your thirties then you will go through this cycle of declaring a quit and then starting again, or quitting and staying off the weed for sometime before something makes you start again.
Everyone that I have helped quit goes through a few thought provoking questions to help them get into the right mindset to make a deep and lasting change.
I believe for most quitters the idea that you’re going to be without your ‘friend’ at different times of the day is dreadful. So it’s important to instill the positive effects of being you without cigarettes. This is much more motivating and helps your mind to start making the change for you.
